Menubar - The menu gives you access to the various functions of FTP Control and works like the menu of any Windows program. Menu items with underlined letters indicate that they can be accessed using the Alt key and the underlined letter. For example, pressing Alt and the F key simultaneously will open the File menu.
Navigation bar – The selection bar allows users to switch back and forth between the various settings and functions of FTP Control.
Toolbar - The Toolbar provides quick access to the most commonly used features of FTP Control, such as establishing connections to FTP sites and the Hat. See the description page for more information on using the Toolbar.
Local Files and Directories - This area of the main window has sub-panels showing the local drives and directories (upper sub-panel) and the local files (lower sub-panel). The local directory toolbar provides access to several useful features.
Remote Files and Directories - The sub-panels here show the directories on the remote site (upper sub-panel) and the files on the remote site (lower sub-panel). The remote directory toolbar provides access to several standard and advanced functions.
·Console – The Console shows the low-level communication between FTP Control and the FTP site. It is useful if you are having problems connecting to a site.
·Status Area – The Status Area gives you feedback on things such as the number of files and bytes currently selected.
